As Bryan is an old friend, it seemed a rather good idea to ask if he would be able to provide some art for our wedding invitation. Bryan asked if he could draw us in a steampunk setting, based on a photograph we'd had taken at one of those Victorian picture booths at the Beamish museum), using the style he'd developed for his award-winning graphic novels One Bad Rat and Heart of Empire.
